Durham
Durham County enjoys a population of over 239,000 and an economic base that is diverse and growing. The County is located at the apex of the vast Research Triangle Region, centered among the cities of Durham, Chapel Hill, and the state capital, Raleigh. These three anchors encompass the world-renowned Research Triangle Park (RTP). RTP, located primarily in southern Durham County, is the world's largest and most successful university-related research and development business park.
Fuquay-Varina
It's close proximity to Raleigh & Cary has made Fuquay Varina a thriving community, and a great alternative to home buyers wanting even more housing choices, and in many cases, more acreage. Yes, Fuquay Varina is further out from Raleigh, RDU Airport & Research Triangle Park, but the trade off is finding more custom home choices for less money than in the Raleigh & Cary areas! There are also two golf coarse communities to choose from, Crooked Creek & Bentwinds. Crooked Creek is the newer of the two offering a wide variety of home choices from the high $200's up to a million. Bentwinds is a more established, traditional golf community.
Garner
Garner is located just south of Raleigh and is a thriving community that is becoming more of a Triangle Destination! Many businesses are finding Garner to be an advantageous place to headquarter or have a location due to its proximity to Raleigh as well as majors roadways like; I-40, 401, 70 and 5. Plenty of new shopping and retail also add to the enticement of relocating to the Garner area.
Holly Springs
Nestled among Apex, Cary and Fuquay-Varina in Southwestern Wake County, Holly Springs offers a small-town atmosphere while balancing projected future growth. More and more Holly Springs is having some of the same growth and quality characteristics that Cary did when it started its big growth streak in the 1990's.
Knightdale
In February of 1701, John Lawson was hired by the King of England to explore the interior of what was then called "Carolina." He was the first to document observations of the area that is now known as Knightdale. He traveled up the Neuse River and reported meeting Tuscarora natives on the banks near where the town now exists. After Lawson concluded his expedition, he reported his findings to the King of England. Soon thereafter, area land was granted to willing settlers.
Morrisville
The main draw to Morrisville is truly it's proximity to Cary, The Research Triangle Park and Raleigh/Durham Airport, as well as the fact that it is serviced Interstate 40 and Highways 54 and 55. The area has more of an open, industrial feel in most parts, but there are still many nice home communities to choose from.
